Aquatics Facilities Supervisor

Position: Aquatics Facilities Supervisor
Department: Aquatics Center

OPAR Director

Position Summary
The City of Osceola is seeking an experienced and motivated Aquatics Facilities Supervisor to manage daily operations of the City’s indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities. This position oversees staff, safety, programming, concessions, and budgeting while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high-quality experience for the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of indoor and outdoor pools
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and aquatic regulations
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise aquatic and concession staff
  • Oversee lifeguard certifications, safety protocols, and emergency response
  • Develop and manage aquatic programs and special events
  • Manage concession operations and food safety compliance
  • Prepare and manage budgets, revenue tracking, and reports
  • Serve as liaison with health departments and regulatory agencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Parks & Recreation, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Experience managing aquatic facilities and concessions preferred
  • Municipal or public sector experience a plus

Required Certifications

  • Lifeguard Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • CPR/AED and First Aid
  • CPO or AFO certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Work Schedule & Conditions

  • Indoor and outdoor work environment
  • Evenings, weekends, and holidays required during peak seasons
